A safari into an abandoned web

This is a journey, an ending unforseen, into the World Before, The [LAND OF WISHES]

This is a journal more than anything. A chronicle into a world untold to generations future, because of the lack of foresight to those before. We aren't built for nothing but the same five sites. Theirs ruins, but ruins still inhabited by denizens of another plane. This is my journey, to new worlds from the old.

Current Condition

A curious thing. A call back to the old low api weather stations, Webcams, music and ethereal text make for an experience like looking into a web broadcast from a more dreamy world. I will update this section as I learn more about it.

I have always liked exploring spaces long abandoned. Don't get wrong, Im not the bravest, and Unfortunately I believe in all sorts of terrible beasties. Ghosts and ghouls wandering in the night. I wonder then, can a website be haunted? Not in a creepypasta sort of way. Websites are made for human eyes to see. They are an expression of whatever the designer wants you to see. Most of the time its corporations trying to peddle whatever they can to you, but sometimes you find a website that means something to someone. I wonder if without those eyes, what becomes to the soul of website. Does it die? Or is it still alive, waiting for someone to come. I don't Know which one scares me more.

I dreamt the other night about a website. Strangely enough I do this alot. It was a website in my past, a mythological conspiracy theory board. The world is secrectly the way it is due to the scars of the wars of gods. Zeus' castration of Cronos and tossing of his....assests into the sea made aphrodite, that much is already in the myth. From the loins of the father of gods game the avatar of beauty, feminity. These words spoken are a way to illustrate why trans people exist. The seafoam of this aerosolizing into a spray of the joys of womanhood to awaken the sleeping souls hidden by the foolish titan. Slight issues with placing the onus of gender and the way society tamps down trans people aside what a lovely sort of ideal. I saw this back in 1998. Back when the web was less of an open ranch and more of a jungle, at a time where I hadent seen anything related to gender, didn't understand the ideals put forth. This of course if but one in the long line of evidence the folks on this website had. Hephastus was secrectly some billionaires muse, hammering out wonderful toys to change the world, but always at the march of whatever corporations level of tech. Always for their profit. That part is infered by me of course, but their was tons of these things. Gods, and not just the greek kind, tho they are often seen as inherently more holy. Perhaps it was due to the way they are associated with a white population. Or maybe its just the way the stories are told we are meant to see them as....Well rulers. I wonder though, are their any other gods out there, trying to understand the ways of man. Influcing us with the scars of their own world. At my base, I am an anarachist. I try and think of my world under that light, along with the other lights that guide my sky. I do not wish to view this hierachy, of gods and men as anything other then the powerful making someone so much more powerful then them, but yet they do nothing to stop the tyrant. Modern religion does this to a lesser degree, but still, we have evolved that to the point where it is (in its better forms) not supposed to be about control. Faith, even in the unknown is important. I do not wish to have faith for the stories of forefathers anymore. I want to sing the song of man. Anyhoo it was a cool website, Hermes invented the united states postal service according to one poster. I wish I could find it honestly.
